White set: angel (cherub) figural lamp and Corinthian column — a luxurious light accent for the interior

This white set with an angel lamp (cherub lamp) is a theatrical, light-filled duet, where the sculpture and column form a unified vertical composition. At the top stands a winged angel child (cherub) — in the image of Cupid with an arrow and bow over his shoulder — holding a torch with a frosted glass flame dome in his raised hand (inside there is space for 1 bulb, which makes the light warm and diffused). The figure rests on a dolphin, wave motif base — an ancient, classic detail. Below it rises a slender, fluted Corinthian column with an ornate acanthus leaf and volute capital and a square, stepped base.

The material is cast gypsum/stone mass with a matte, powdery white finish, reminiscent of the elegance of biscuit porcelain; the torch flame is frosted glass, which transforms an lit bulb into a soft, glowing light. The modeling is high and detailed: the angel’s curly hair, wing feathers, and the softness of the face are meticulously crafted.

Style and period of manufacture. According to the Corinthian capital, the figure of Cupid and the torch-lamp motif, the set is made in a classical / neoclassical style — a decorative light object whose aesthetic continues the 19th-century tradition of figural lamps, when angels and nymphs brought light to luxurious salons and staircases.

Application. An impressive light and decor accent in a representative hall, living room, by the stairs, in a hotel or restaurant interior, as well as for wedding and event decoration. The angel on its column creates an almost human-sized vertical, which immediately draws attention in the room.

Condition. Good, consistent with age. Natural signs of use and dust in places on the surface, minor natural wear on individual edges and joints (see photos). Electricity can be checked/connected according to local standards. Stable construction.
