The table’s Neo-Baroque<\/strong> legs, with their acanthus<\/em> leaf volute<\/em> spirals, multi-tiered balustrade<\/em>-type shaft with ove e dardo<\/em> moulding, and four sweeping leg branches ending in scroll feet \u2014 all point to Italian<\/strong> or southern French<\/strong> high-grade cabinetmaking, where Historicism<\/strong> combined with a strong Baroque inheritance to produce this theatrically magnificent pedestal form.<\/p>\n
