The piece is a clear example of the Neo-Renaissance<\/strong> style: pilasters<\/em> and fluted<\/em> columns, acanthus<\/em> leaves, cartouche<\/em> panels on the sides, volute<\/em> ornaments and floral scrolls on the frontal frieze \u2014 all of it translating the principles of Renaissance architecture into the language of furniture.<\/p>\n
